The Boise State football team was picked to win the Mountain West’s Mountain Division on Tuesday in the preseason poll — continuing the Broncos’ streak of being picked first in their division or conference for all seven years they’ve been in the Mountain West.
The Broncos were picked by the conference’s media as the Mountain Division favorite, garnering 21 of 28 first-place votes. San Diego State was the unanimous choice in the West Division. It is the third consecutive year the Broncos and Aztecs were picked to win their divisions.
