The final non-conference game was too close for comfort. But the Broncos still pull away late in the second half to secure the win.
The Broncos started out the game with noticeable rust. Having ten days between contests can do that to a team. After the holiday break getting back to the grind, and routine, of the full schedule can take some time. Unfortunately for the Broncos, that rust did not appear to be shaking off in the first half.
Trailing 20-15 just under the eight minute mark, the Broncos Were out rebounded by the Aggies 12-4.
