Boise State men find their groove in nonconference win over Pacific

For more than a month, Leon Rice has been telling Boise State men’s basketball fans not to lose hope.

The Broncos gave fans at Taco Bell Arena a reason to believe again Saturday afternoon.

Boise State led from wire to wire in an 83-71 victory over Pacific of the West Coast Conference. Justinian Jessup scored a game-high 20 points with four 3-pointers, and RJ Williams added 17 points and eight boards.

The victory ended a two-game losing streak and improves the Broncos’ record to 5-7 going into Christmas break.
