According to a Sports Illustrated report by Thayer Evans, Julius Brown has been let go by the Broncos. While the Boise State secondary featured veteran players in Darian Thompson and Donte Deayon, the secondary struggled with allowing chunks of pass plays, averaging 210 yards a game, 45th in the NCAA.
In the same report, and also reported by footballscoop.com, sources are saying that Gerald Alexander will take Brown's recently vacated position.
Alexander did agree to join the staff at Jeff Choate's Montana State program. But, as with all things in the coaching world, movement and shuffles are always bound to happen.
