Only two Boise State players have suited up for the Jacksonville Jaguars, both defensive backs, and Jeron Johnson is trying to make it a third.
Johnson was signed by the Jaguars on Aug. 6, after spending the offseason as a free agent. He spent last season with the Seahawks, where he played from 2011 to 2014, with a season with the Redskins in between.
The other Broncos to play for the Jaguars were Gerald Alexander (2009-10) and Rashid Gayle (1996). Johnson is a standout special teams player, but it may be tough for him to make the roster, as he is not currently listed on the depth chart.
