The Boise State men’s basketball team went 9-for-10 from the free-throw line in overtime to secure a 93-91 victory over UNLV on Saturday at Taco Bell Arena.
UNLV’s Jordan Johnson drove the length of the court with 6.6 seconds left in overtime and missed a reverse layup. Seven-foot freshman Brandon McCoy’s tip-in attempt missed, giving the Broncos (19-4, 9-2 Mountain West) the victory in front of a sold-out crowd.
Five Broncos finished in double figures, led by senior Chandler Hutchison with 21 points. Justinian Jessup added 18 points including five 3-pointers, while Lexus Williams and Marcus Dickinson had 12 points apiece.
