Midlothian (Va.) cornerback Jermani Brown was the first signee of the day, coming in at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. Rated as a four-star recruit by Scout.com, he began his prep career in California before moving to Virginia before his senior season.
“He’s a phenomenal athlete, highly intelligent kid, plays offense and defense, is a returner, he really wants to be a returner. Very explosive kid,” cornerbacks coach Ashley Ambrose said. “He’s that kid that can be special later on in his career.”
