Boise State football player arrested

Boise State defensive lineman David Moa was arrested at 2:25 a.m. Saturday morning on a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s website.

Other details of the arrest were not immediately available.

Moa, one of the Broncos’ top defensive players, was an All-Mountain West first-team selection in 2016. The redshirt sophomore led Boise State with 8.5 sacks last season and has one sack in 2017. He appeared on several preseason award watchlists, including the Outland Trophy (top interior lineman in college football) and Bronco Nagurski Trophy (top defensive player in college football).
