Boise State senior defensive tackle David Moa will likely not play the rest of the 2018 season, coach Bryan Harsin said Monday.
Moa suffered a calf injury in the summer and has been limited all season. He played a dozen snaps Sept. 15 at Oklahoma State in his only game action. Harsin said Moa may return for a bowl game, but that is unclear at the moment.
There is a possibility Moa could get a medical redshirt, but that would not be known until the offseason. He used a redshirt his first season on campus.
Harsin also confirmed junior safety DeAndre Pierce is out for the rest of the season after he suffered a spleen laceration Sept.
