Broncos looked to this match-up to bounce back from a hotly contested match against the Wolf Pack down in Reno. Seeing as how the San Jose State Spartans were 3-15, 0-7 MWC headed into this game, the Broncos had the possibility to put another one in the win column. While games still have to be played, the Broncos needed this one to ensure to keep some sort of pace with the Wolf Pack.
