Boise State comes up short in overtime against Wyoming

Boise State’s fast start hit a brick wall in the second half as Wyoming rallied from as much as a 16-point deficit for a 79-78 victory in overtime Saturday in Laramie, Wyo.

Wyoming forward Hayden Dalton scored a game-high 29 points with 12 rebounds and played all 45 minutes for the Cowboys (11-5, 2-1).

The Broncos (13-3, 3-1) had a chance at a game-winner in overtime, but Chandler Hutchison’s 3-pointer at the buzzer came up short. Hutchison paced the Broncos with 27 points, and Zach Haney added 15 points and seven rebounds before fouling out.
