Bronco Nation reacted with sadness and respect for the legacy of former Boise State football coach and athletic director Lyle Smith, who died overnight Tuesday at 101 years old.
“He was one of the most unselfish people I’ve ever been around, and made everyone around him feel special. Our team had so much respect for him, and he meant so much to our program. He was an incredible man, and this is a very sad day for Boise State,” said Boise State football head coach Bryan Harsin.
Here’s how other Boise State fans memorialized the godfather of Bronco athletics on Wednesday.
