Wisconsin's Tanner McEvoy wrestles with decreased reps at wide receiver

MADISON, Wis. -- Catching Tanner McEvoy in an honest moment about his lack of touches at wide receiver is like catching the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot on the same day. That is, to say, you can try. But success will prove elusive.

McEvoy was supposed to serve as a legitimate threat to opponents at both safety and receiver this season -- a rare combination of talent that made him among the more intriguing Big Ten storylines. Before Wisconsin opened the 2015 campaign against Alabama, that was at least the plan. Fewer safety reps than anticipated, more receiver reps.
