Wisconsin running back Corey Clement did not make the trip for the team's game Saturday against Maryland due to lingering soreness from sports hernia surgery, according to school officials.
Clement was unable to practice all week and therefore wasn't cleared to play. It marks a considerable step back for someone who just last week returned in grand fashion after missing seven games. Clement, the Badgers' standout tailback, carried 11 times for 115 yards with three touchdowns in a 48-10 victory against Rutgers. However, he also demonstrated he still had a long way to go in his healing process.
