Wisconsin grabs lead, holds on late to top USC in the Holiday Bowl

SAN DIEGO -- After a sluggish start to the National Funding Holiday Bowl which included a scoreless first quarter, Wisconsin jumped out to a lead, blew the lead, and then got it back in the final minutes en route to a 23-21 win over USC.

Wisconsin kicker Rafael Gaglianone converted three field goals while quarterback Joel Stave tossed a touchdown and Corey Clement ran for another.

The Trojans got a pair of touchdown runs from Justin Davis and a touchdown pass from quarterback Cody Kessler.
