Wisconsin Fall Camp Preview - Secondary

It is not easy to make a position switch late in your football career, especially when you’ve failed at the position you were originally recruited to play. But in the case of redshirt senior Tanner McEvoy, it will be hard to keep the 6-6 prospect out of the starting safety spot with the athleticism, talent and ability he has showcased in his three seasons on campus.

With McEvoy switching to safety after his unsuccessful season at quarterback, the senior joins safety Michael Caputo and cornerbacks Darius Hillary and Sojourn Shelton to form one of the best secondary units in the Big Ten.
