MADISON, Wis. -- The first time T.J. Watt saw Sojourn Shelton on a football field, he wasn't sure what to make of his future Wisconsin teammate's animated, exuberant behavior.
Watt was a high school senior attending the Badgers' spring game in 2013 and Shelton was a freshman cornerback in his first semester on campus as an early enrollee. Watt immediately noticed Shelton did not lack for confidence.
"I remember when he made a play, and he started celebrating," Watt said. "I was like, 'What is this?' This guy just made like a tackle five yards down the field and he's celebrating.
