Wisconsin Badgers spring game preview

MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin football fans waiting to catch their first glimpse of the Badgers can finally do so on Saturday during the team's annual spring game. And the format should provide plenty of opportunities to gauge where players stand.

Badgers coach Paul Chryst said the game would feature a scrimmage lasting between 60 and 75 minutes. The other portion of the two-hour event would involve several one-on-one competitions, supplying those in attendance with a chance to watch many team veterans.

"I'm excited to see some of the young guys play and be in game-type situations," Chryst said following Thursday's practice.
