Michigan's chances to beat No. 2 Ohio State in Columbus begin and end with its ability to contain quarterback J.T. Barrett.
The Buckeyes' record-setting quarterback has thrown 24 touchdown passes and four interceptions so far this season for the country's fifth-best scoring offense. It's been his running ability, though, that has doomed Michigan in their two previous meetings. Barrett ran for a combined 228 yards and five touchdowns against the Wolverines in 2014 and 2015 despite the first performance being shortened by a broken ankle.
Barrett's name was the first one on the tongue of any and every Michigan player asked about the basics of slowing down their rivals this week.
