The starting quarterback job at Ohio State once again belongs to J.T. Barrett, and his recent touchdown binge has certainly looked eerily similar to the work he did as a top-five finisher in the Heisman Trophy race last season.
That award is surely well out of reach for a player who might start a maximum of five games in the regular season. But with 12 touchdowns over the past three weeks, Barrett might still be able to make a case for other individual honors if he keeps that up. Or it might simply be too late for him as a redshirt sophomore.
