Spartans fans lighting up their allegiance

Clark Griswold has some new competition with Christmas decorations. A house in Mason, Michigan, not far from Michigan State's campus, is gearing up for the holidays and the Spartans' playoff appearance in one fell swoop.

The Brown family, according to their website, puts on a choreographed Christmas lights show for charity each year. This year, they decided to go with the Michigan State fight song accompanied by dancing green and white lights. Passers-by can leave donations (last year the family gave more than $1,200 to a local humane society), which should hopefully quiet some of the complaints from the neighbors who likely will have some trouble sleeping until after the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic this year.
