Purdue season in review: Another rough year for slumping Boilermakers

Purdue coach Darrell Hazell talked confidently this summer about how his 2015 team would be different.

The Boilermakers struggled mightily in Hazell's first two seasons in West Lafayette, Indiana, but he said that gains in the weight room and more experience on the field would lead to better results in Year 3. Instead, the team actually suffered a backslide, going 2-10 and beating just one FBS team. While the Boilers were competitive in several games, that's little solace for fans who have watched Hazell's teams go a combined 6-30 and win just two of their 24 Big Ten games.
