No. 12 Michigan dominates on defense in win over Penn State

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Penn State's struggling offense was no match for the defense of No. 12 Michigan.

The Wolverines dominated in the 28-16 win over Penn State. They limited the Nittany Lions to just nine points in their three trips within the 10-yard line. And, after the final three quarter, Penn State had less than 20 rushing yards.

Christian Hackenberg finished just 13-of-32, and Penn State averaged 3.2 yards per rush. Michigan also finished with 10 tackles-for-loss and four sacks.

With the win, Michigan improves to 9-2 (6-1 Big Ten) while PSU drops to 7-4 (4-3).
