Nebraska coach Mike Riley confirmed Thursday that five Nebraska players would be suspended for the Sept. 5 opener against Brigham Young.

Riley declined to give names of the suspended players, telling reporters after the Huskers practiced that "it will become obvious as the kickoff occurs.
