Khalid Hill’s 10 rushing touchdowns on 25 attempts for 39 yards might be one of the most interesting stat lines in college football this season. The Michigan fullback has been a short-yardage touchdown machine, even after his trips to the end zone became regular enough for opponents to expect to see the ball in his hands.
Hill’s Wolverines teammates are all happy to take some of the credit for his ability to keep plowing through defenses that know he’ll be plowing and finish what the rest of the offense starts.
“I think it kind of continues to be so successful because of my muscles to push him over the goal line every time he gets the ball,” says quarterback Wilton Speight.
