COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Malik Hooker dreams big.
Even without any previous starting experience, even when he was dealing with growing pains as the former high school basketball star learned the intricacies on the football field, even when he was stuck behind two NFL safeties on the depth chart, the Ohio State redshirt sophomore wasn’t chasing modest goals.
So while everybody outside of Ohio State’s program and maybe even a few inside it might still be picking their jaw up off the floor trying to figure out just where the sudden superstar safety came from this season, Hooker had envisioned it all along -- except for maybe a few minor details.
