A ticket to the Rose Bowl Game Presented by Northwestern Mutual is the hottest of the college football postseason.
And you can thank Iowa.
The school, preparing for its first Rose Bowl in 25 years, capped requests on Thursday for its 22,000-ticket allotment at 54,381. Iowa will notify fans Monday on the status of their requests.
The Hawkeyes' 16-13 loss to Michigan State in the Big Ten championship game, apparently, did little to dampen enthusiasm. No. 5 Iowa has won a school record 12 games ahead of its New Year’s Day meeting with No. 6 Stanford in Pasadena, California.
