PASADENA, Calif. -- On Fridays in the fall when Iowa plays at Kinnick Stadium, Amy Deardorff leaves home in Omaha, Nebraska, to meet her sister, Jayne Tyler, in Atlantic, Iowa.
They jump behind the wheel of a 45-foot Prevost motor coach and steer east on Interstate 80. Yes, it's a full-sized bus, with dark windows, striped red, black and silver to match the colors of Coca-Cola.
Jim Tyler, their father, boards the bus in Waukee, Iowa, west of Des Moines, for the rest of the trip. They stop to sleep in the Amana Colonies outside of Iowa City.
