MADISON, Wis. -- With each long and repetitious day rehabbing inside Wisconsin's team training room, Chris Orr and Jack Cichy are reminded of the physical discomfort and isolation that can arise with sustaining season-ending injuries.
In early September, the two were paired as starting inside linebackers to open the season, promising talents that solidified the Badgers' linebacker unit as one of the best in the country. Now, they want so badly to recapture what was lost. Only time and diligent recuperation, however, can heal their ailments.
But as Orr and Cichy struggled to adjust to their circumstances, they realized it wasn't the feeling of playing they specifically missed -- and they do miss that -- as it was the brotherhood of simply being around teammates and making a positive impact.
