MADISON, Wis. -- When Wisconsin began spring practice in mid-March, Badgers receivers coach Ted Gilmore felt comfortable with only two players in his position group. It was no secret that Gilmore, along with the rest of the coaching staff, wanted to see a third wide receiver emerge to provide the offense with more depth and versatility.
If Saturday's spring game was any indication, Wisconsin might have found its man.
George Rushing, who will be a junior this fall, caught two passes -- both touchdowns -- for 89 yards and demonstrated he could be a big-play threat to complement Robert Wheelwright and Jazz Peavy.
