COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The individual comparisons are never going away. But the standard is about to get a whole lot tougher to match for Mike Weber.
Given his place as the successor to one of the most productive tailbacks in Ohio State history and Ezekiel Elliott’s role as a mentor for Weber, there’s really no way for him to escape the head-to-head measurements with a player who is already a Pro Bowl running back as a rookie with the Dallas Cowboys. Ohio State uses video clips of Elliott to instruct players of the way a running back can all the responsibilities in the backfield, driving that point home even further.
