Don Brown will assume defensive coordinator duties for the Michigan Wolverines in 2016, per Sports Illustrated's Thayer Evans.
Michigan has yet to confirm the hire, but Sam Webb of TheMichiganInsider.com reported Brown has already spoke to his players at Boston College to announce his intention to leave.
Brown replaces D.J. Durkin, who left Ann Arbor, Michigan, after just a season to take over as head coach at Maryland.
