Big Ten weekend recruiting wrap: Announcements coming for teams

This past week was the final week in this contact period for coaches to conduct in-home visits with prospects and host some of the bigger targets before heading into a dead period.

The Big Ten coaches were out in full force. Here is a look at the biggest recruiting news from the conference.

Biggest commit:

Minnesota had one of the bigger weeks within the conference, as it secured five commitments in roughly two days.

The biggest of the bunch was ESPN 300 quarterback Seth Green, who flipped from Oregon. Green tweeted that the departure of Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost, who took the UCF head-coaching position, factored into his decision.
