The Big Ten championship game between Wisconsin and Penn State is a matchup nobody expected before the season. But in some respects, that makes what happens on the field Saturday night in Indianapolis even more intriguing.
The Badgers and Nittany Lions have combined to win their last 14 regular-season games, putting themselves on the cusp of improbably snatching a College Football Playoff berth. The winner certainly would boast a strong case as a two-loss team. Of course, a few dominoes likely need to fall in order for that to take place.
