After a raucous rivalry game between Ohio State and Michigan ended up with the Buckeyes winning 30-27 in double overtime, one of the loudest roars of the season was heard in Happy Valley.
That's because the Ohio State win opened things up for Penn State to represent the East Division at next week's Big Ten Football Championship Game.
After the Buckeyes secured their win on Curtis Samuel's 15-yard touchdown run in the second extra session, the Nittany Lions did their part, as they dominated Michigan State in the second half and secured a 45-12 victory.
Penn State (10-2, 8-1 in the Big Ten) had put itself in a position to represent the East as a result of its upset victory over Ohio State last month.
