College football attendance is down overall, but the top schools are still drawing tons of fans each week. We're here to detail the top 5 teams in the Big Ten. The conference was one of the best at getting fans to games this season, with three teams in the top 10 overall. With that in mind, here are the 5 Big Ten Football Teams With The Highest Attendance In 2015:
5. Wisconsin Badgers - 78,014
The Badgers were fifth in the Big Ten last season and 17th overall. Attendance dropped by two percent from last season, but Wisconsin still packed Camp Randall Stadium often.
4. Nebraska Cornhuskers - 89,998
It was a down season for Nebraska, but the fans still showed up this year. With a better season next year, they'll top 90,000 fans. They just barely missed out on the top overall, finishing in 11th place.
3. Penn State Nittany Lions - 99,799
PSU dipped below six digits this season, but it was still a strong season for attendance. Happy Valley sure loves their football. They were sixth overall in attendance
2. Ohio State Buckeyes - 107,244
The Buckeyes had another well-attended season, finishing second overall. For a successful team with a passionate fan base, coming in the top two shouldn't be a surprise. Unfortunately for Buckeye fans, they won't like the team that finished above them.
1. Michigan Wolverines - 110,168
The Wolverines take the top spot in the Big Ten and overall. The "Big House" is massive, which allows Michigan fans to pack the stadium. The Wolverines jumped by five percent this season, tied for the biggest jump among schools in the top 10 overall.
