NEW YORK – Xavier senior forward Samson Sergi and Creighton senior defender Connor Ramlo represented BIG EAST men’s soccer on the 2019 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America teams, which were announced on Thursday. Sergi was voted to the second team while Ramlo was named to the third team.
Sergi is the first Musketeer to earn the honors since Matt Vasquenza in 2017. He earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors after scoring a conference-leading 10 goals this season. Sergi and Georgetown's Jacob Montes were the only two players in the BIG EAST who were unanimous selections.
