For the first time since November 2014, the Xavier Musketeers have lost back-to-back road games. Xavier fell, 68-66, to the Colorado Buffaloes Wednesday night at the Coors Events Center in Boulder. The Musketeers dropped to 7-2 on the year.
The Musketeers took a three-point lead into the half, 31-28, and continued their strong play at the start of the second half, leading by as many as nine points after the break. Colorado went on a 15-0 run during which the Buffaloes caught fire from beyond the arc. This run was ultimately the difference maker in the game, as Xavier never led again.
