What we learned from Day 3 of the NCAA Tournament and what to watch for on Day 4

The reigning National Champions are gone, but the Big East Conference is sending two teams to the Sweet 16. The 11-seeded Xavier Musketeers and 4-seeded Butler Bulldogs got the job done, and as a result the X-Men will are bound for San Jose while the ‘Dawgs will be trekking down to Memphis. It’s (obviously) the most teams that the conference has sent to the second weekend since its reformatting and while ‘Nova’s exit may leave a bitter taste in mouths on the Main Line and elsewhere, Butler and Xavier are fine representatives for the conference and each have the potential to keep making noise.
