Per usual, the Big East handed out its weekly awards on Monday morning. As is often the case at this point in the season, both awards are going to already-multiple time winners, as Villanova Wildcats forward Josh Hart was named Player of the Week while St. John’s Red Storm guard Marcus LoVett won his second straight Freshman of the Week award.
Hart, a senior, continues to rack up his accolades this season, as this is the fourth Big East Player of the Week award for the Naismith Award contender.
