Eric Paschall held the cardboard sign high for all to see, the one that read: “BIG EAST Champions.” The rest of the newly-minted tournament champions followed him through the throng on the court. Jalen Brunson was right behind, so was Mikal Bridges, Phil Booth, Omari Spellman, Donte Divincenzo and the rest of the title-clinching Wildcats as they waded into Nova Nation to celebrate yet another BIG EAST Tournament title after a wild 76-66 overtime victory over upset-minded Providence. Former Villanova stars Kyle Lowry and Randy Foye celebrated as well, high-fiving anyone who came near their courtside seats.
