The Villanova Wildcats took another step forward in their quest to be back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back Big East Champions on Wednesday night. The Wildcats romped the DePaul Blue Demons 93-62 to move to 25-3 and 12-3 in Big East play.

Leading the charge for the vaunted Cats was Mikal Bridges. The junior sensation scored a game-high 27 points and needed only 12 shots to do so. Bridges converted on nine of them, good for a field goal percentage of 75 percent and shot 57.1 percent from long range on seven 3-point attempts.
