Seton Hall senior DH Casey Dana batted .462 (6-for-13) with a home run, three doubles, six RBI and four runs scored in a 3-1 week for the Pirates in a league-opening weekend at home against Butler. Dana earned a hit in every game, two multi-hit and multi-RBI performances. His slugging for the weekend of .923. With the score tied at 4-4, Dana delivered a bases clearing, two-run double in the bottom of the seventh putting the Pirates ahead for good, 7-4, in Saturday’s finale.
