Day 1 results
GENEVA, Ohio – The 2021 BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships presented by JEEP got under way on Friday at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The University of Connecticut holds the lead in both the men’s and women’s team scoring. After seven events on the men side, the Huskies totaled 115 points, and after six events on the women’s side tallied 73. Butler follows on the men’s side with 43 points, while Villanova rounds out the top three with 40. Marquette (fourth, 32 points), Georgetown (fifth, 29), DePaul (sixth, seven) and Providence (seventh, six) also earned points on the men’s side on Day 1.
