It may be Christmas Eve, but Christmas came a few hours early for the St. John's Red Storm. Chris Mullin and his staff can celebrate the fact that the Johnnies have landed a commitment from a Top 100 player in 2018. That player being J'Raan Brooks, who announced his commitment to the Johnnies on Twitter Sunday night.
Brooks originally committed to the USC Trojans, but decommitted following the news of their involvement in the FBI scandal. After reopening his recruiting process, he took visits to both the Washington Huskies and California Golden Bears.
