NEW YORK – Tickets are on sale now for the 2016 BIG EAST Baseball Championship Presented by Jeep. This year’s championship will be held at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md., Memorial Day weekend, May 26-29. Tickets can be purchased here via the Aberdeen Ironbirds website.
The top four teams in the final league standings will make the tournament. Last year, St. John’s defended its No. 1 seed and won the championship as well, defeating host-school Creighton and Georgetown. The winner of the BIG EAST Championship will receive the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
