The conference has a chance to go to 2-0 today with Georgetown and Marquette both in action against Wisconsin and IUPUI. We’ll see how things play out, but so far so good for teams from this conference this week.
Seven different voters included Marquette in their list of the 25 teams in America, with their placing ranging from #22 to #25. The most popular placing was #24, with three pollsters inserting the Golden Eagles there. With 18 points from those seven votes, Marquette is unofficially the #31 team in the country.
