Once again, Team USA was pushed to the limit as a recurring theme reared its head down in Rio on Sunday afternoon. Like the previous four occasions though, the United States was able to will themselves to victory to remain unbeaten in Olympic play, tallying a 100-97 over France to improve to 5-0.
The star of the game was Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson who had been mired in struggles similar to those that he had in the 2016 NBA Final.s Thompson though shot himself out of the slump and scored 30 points in the three-point victory over France.
