Team USA Basketball vs. Argentina Rio Olympics 2016 final score: Kevin Durant scores 27 as US advances to semis

Admit it, you were worried.

With 4:02 remaining in the first quarter, Andres Nocioni drained a three-pointer to give Argentina a 19-9 lead over the United States. After winning their last two games by a combined six points, there was cause for concern for the Americans.

However, the concern dissipated shortly thereafter, as the US pulled it together en route to a 105-78 victory, their second-largest margin of victory in the 2016 Olympics.

Kevin Durant led the way with 27 points, while Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler had five and seven points, respectively. Lowry also grabbed six rebounds while Butler dished out four assists.
