Taurean Thomspon transfers to Seton Hall

Syracuse transfer Taurean Thompson has officially transferred to Seton Hall, according to a release from the school.

Thompson left Syracuse at the end of August, when Orange coach Jim Boeheim said Thompson was looking to go to a school closer to his home.

Seton Hall heavily recruited Thompson prior to his commitment to ‘Cuse, and the Pirates were in his final three schools along with Michigan State.

The 6’10 forward averaged 9.2 points per game for the Orange last year in a strong freshman season. He should be a very solid replacement for Angel Delgado for Seton Hall starting next season.
